Description
The specimen shows the classical grape-like appearance of a mole; each of the 'cysts' is a distended
chorionic villus. The genesis of this lesion is not known, but it is associated with varying degrees
of proliferation of trophoblast and is, thus, related to chorio-carcinoma.
